KREM Radio’s Women at Work talk show is the longest running radio show by women, about social issues in Belize, and airs Monday nights at 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Women at Work, which has been on air for 7 years, is hosted by Virginia Echols, UEF Board member (UBAD Educational Foundation), responsible for programs at the Library of African and Indian Studies. The purpose of Women at Work is to discuss social issues and realistic solutions as they relate to the family unit and community. The objectives are to educate and inform the audience how to live productive, principle-oriented, positive lives. The benefits include the increased awareness of UEF to Belizeans, and tangible ways to bring wellness, happiness and wealth in all lives. Women at Work is the first Belizean Radio and TV talk show to have a live-studio audience. |

This program airs on Tuesday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is hosted by Amandala’s Assistant Editor, Adele Ramos. Adele was once an educator. She studied designing abroad and has been working in print media for over ten years. Her show covers a range of national important topics and seeks to find solutions to pressing concerns. It gives people a forum to voice their opinion on varying sectors of society. |

The ever-popular, multi-talented Tony Wright: Poet, composer, and musician, appears on KREM Radio not only once, but twice, on Thursdays, to promote the work of our very own Belizean musicians from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, and then re-appears at 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Also on Saturday mornings he displays his fine taste for good music, and his unique persona, which allows him to enter the homes of many listeners locally and internationally from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. He sets your Saturday morning mood right, doing an excellent job at entertaining. |

This is a weekly Talk Show hosted by “YaYa” Marin Coleman who interviews grass roots, community leaders and government representatives about burning national issues.
